Dictionaries & Fonts

All data are in ZIP archives, which you can download by right-clicking. How to unpack the ZIP archives and where to get a program for it, if necessary, you can read in detail on separate explanation pages for TOS and WINDOWS.

The files are stored without paths in the ZIP archives; they must be unpacked in the appropriate directories!

Dictionaries

The dictionaries are left as they are. They are not subject to product maintenance within the Tempus Word project. No guarantee for quality, scope and correctness.

Dictionaries are expected in the "correct" directory of Tempus-Word in the default installation.

The following dictionaries were given to us (except for German) by Dennis Vermeire, our supporter from Belgium who unfortunately passed away much too early. Since we do not know most of the languages, we cannot say anything about the quality. However, we know that Dennis was very careful and that the existing dictionaries can at least be a solid basis for the respective language. However, hyphenation rules are only available for some of the dictionaries.

For foreign language dictionaries and hyphenation rules we rely on the help of users. If you can/want to support us, please use the contact function at the bottom of the page.

Writings of the program documentation

If your system does not support the supplied TrueType fonts of the program documentation, you can alternatively use these Calamus fonts.

• Calamus Fonts N-Signs & N-Tasten | TWCFN.ZIP | Filesize 49K/49.937 Bytes
• With friendly support from [Ulf Dunkel, http://www.calamus.net][cnet)
• Alternative to True Type if no NVDI is available.
  They are unpacked into the TWCHSET directory. You must register the Calamus fonts before using them for the first time.
• In the package from version 5.4 the True Type fonts are unpacked into the TWCHSET directory. Under Windows these fonts are installed automatically - provided you have the appropriate rights.
